            Absolutely! The Dreamcast Podcast Pitch Contest is open to both new and existing podcast ideas. If you have an existing podcast, the contest is a great opportunity for you to revitalize it, fine-tune it, and avoid the common phenomenon known as "podfade". By participating, you will have access to valuable resources and training through the Podcast Clarity Bootcamp, which will help you develop a clear and effective strategy for your podcast pitch submission. Additionally, you will receive feedback from a committee of industry experts, strategic coaching, and a chance to receive professional production support for your pilot episode. With the help of these resources, you'll be able to take your podcast to the next level and attract a wider audience.

          2. How do I apply for the competition?
            To apply for the podcast pitch contest, sign up by entering your first name and email on our website at www.dreamcastpitch.com. After you submit your information, you will receive detailed instructions on the registration process, the next steps, and what to expect. There is no fee to sign up, and your information will not be added to any email list. We will only use your information to provide you with contest updates and information.           3. What if I can't make the training live?
            We got you. We understand that life is busy, and all of the sessions will be recorded and made available for you to watch or listen to at your convenience while you are doing your regular podcasting. You can still participate in the bootcamp and get all of the benefits of the training, even if you can't make it to the live sessions.

          4. What is included in the 3-month strategic coaching prize?
            The 3-month strategic coaching prize ($1,500 Value) is designed to help participants take the following steps to launch their podcast and keep the momentum going. It includes three 1-hour coaching calls per month with a successful podcast creator or producer, who will provide guidance and support to help participants develop and implement a strategic plan for their podcast. The coaching will cover topics such as podcast production, distribution, marketing, and monetization and will be tailored to the needs and goals of each participant.

          5. What is included in the grand prize of professional production?
            The grand prize of professional production includes production support of up to $5,000USD to develop the pilot episode or trailer of the winning podcast idea. This includes support from experienced audio engineering, editing, and production professionals to help the grand prize winner bring their podcast idea to life. The grand prize winner will work closely with the production team to develop and produce their pilot episode or trailer and will receive guidance and support to help them achieve their vision for their podcast.

          6. How will the committee of industry experts conduct the scoring?
            The committee of industry experts will use a detailed scoring rubric to evaluate and score each pitch submission. The rubric will take into account a number of factors, including the concept and value proposition of the show, the target audience and unique point of view, the qualifications and experience of the participant, the content and format of the show, the potential for listener retention and revenue generation, and the overall feasibility and potential for success of the show. The top-scoring submissions will be selected as the winners of the pitch contest. More details about the scoring process will be provided when participants sign up for the contest.

          7. Is there a fee to apply or to participate in the competition?
            Yes, there is a registration fee of $497USD to participate in the podcast pitch contest. This fee includes the 5-day live Podcast Clarity Bootcamp ($497 Value), which provides valuable training and support for aspiring podcast creators and producers. The bootcamp covers various topics, including idea generation, storytelling, content creation, marketing and promotion, and more. We believe that this fee represents a fair and reasonable investment for aspiring podcast creators and producers and helps ensure that the contest is accessible and affordable for participants.

          8. Are there any scholarships available for the Dreamcast Podcast Pitch Contest?

          10. How many people can be on a podcast team or show?
            The Dreamcast Podcast Pitch Contest is open to all creators and brands interested in developing a podcast show. There is no limit on the number of people who can be on a podcast team or show. However, we do recommend that teams have at least 2-3 people to have a diverse range of perspectives and skills. This can help ensure that your show has a well-rounded and engaging concept and can provide additional support and collaboration during the competition and beyond—only one submission per team.

          11. Can I collaborate or network with other participants during the competition?
            Yes, participants in the Dreamcast Podcast Competition will have the opportunity to collaborate and network with other participants throughout the competition. This can provide valuable support and guidance, as well as the chance to share ideas and experiences with others who are also interested in podcasting. Participants can collaborate and network through various channels, such as online forums, social media groups, and in-person events.

          12. What additional resources or training is available to help me improve my podcasting and audio production skills?
            Absolutely!
